Tools
December 28, 2024 (updated: March 6, 2026)
In this post â that I plan to update from time to time â you can find the tools I use daily.
Hardware
The mouse: Logitech MX Master![1], had one since the first gen. Driven to find the same ergonomic on a keyboard, one thing led to another, I jumped into the wonderful (and expensive) world of mechanical keyboards.
At some point, I switched from traditional layouts to Atreus and it took me quite a while to adapt. Now I'm trying Lily58 with a tilting kit, but I still need to adjust the firmware to make it functional like Atreus.
Software
| Personal | Work | |
|---|---|---|
| Terminal Editor | Helix | idem |
| GUI Editor | Sublime Text | CudaText |
| IDE | - | IntelliJ IDEA, VS Code |
| Terminal | Kitty | Windows Terminal |
| Shell | Bash | Powershell |
| Prompt | Starship | idem |
| Coding Font | Source Code Pro/Hasklug NF Mono* | idem |
| Git Client | Lazygit | idem |
| OS | Omarchy | Windows |
* Although PragmataPro Mono is a very compact font, useful for diffs.
I liked Emacs Prelude, but never managed to switch over completely. I would have had to learn more about Org-mode and there's Magit, which is in a league of its own.
I agree with what Casey Handmer wrote. âŠī¸
